THE DISTANCES
The 10 and under participants will complete the following distances.
Swim: 100 meters
Bike: 2 miles
Run: 1/2 mile

The 11 and older will complete the following distances.
Swim: 200 meters
Bike: 4 miles
Run: 1 mile

THE COURSE
The swim will be in the Twin Hickory Community Pool. The bike course will be in the neighborhoods close to the pool. The run will be on the jogging paths in Twin Hickory

 THE RULES
 No drafting is allowed on the bike. Helmets must be worn at all times on the bike and must be ANSI and/or Snell approved. No interfering with other competitors Complete USA Triathlon rules are here: http://usatriathlon.org/Rules_Officials/rules.htm

THE AWARDS
 All pre-registered finishers will receive an award.
Pre-registration ends on 7/22/05.

Volunteers are needed: Parents & siblings are encouraged to help in this effort.
ENTRY FEE
$25 online registration only
After 7/22/05 a $10 late fee applies.
All proceeds from this race go to the The Children's Hospital of Richmond

INCLEMENT WEATHER
The race director reserves the right to alter or cancel portions of the race as deemed necessary for safety reasons. RAIN DATE is Aug 7. NO TRANSFERS. NO REFUNDS.

AID STATIONS
There will be a water station at the transition area, which is accessible at the end of the swim, the start of the run and after the event.

There will be water at the turn around on the run. There will not be a water bottle hand-off on the bike. Please make plans to carry your own water supply, if needed.

The race will be capped at 120 entries.  For safety and insurance reasons we can not accomodate any more than 120 entries. Please register early to ensure a spot in the race.

The 2004 Twin Hickory Youth Triathlon was a big success!  Many thanks to our sponsors listed below and to our volunteers.  We were able to have a fun and exciting race. We also raised ~$2500 for The Luekemia & Lymphoma Society
Proceeds for 2004 went to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The tshirts & medals for those who did not get theirs from 2004 are in at the Lake House.  Please call 360-2971 to make sure there are employees present before dropping by to pick them up.
